Overview

The AmberWatch Foundation Kid's Advisory Board is comprised of a diverse group of kids whose parents are from all walks of life (i.e. celebrities, entertainment, government, educational, civic leaders and typical families). They keep us informed on the concerns of their peers and how to communicate our messages and programs in the most effective ways. They reach out to help underprivileged kids and come up with ways to support AmberWatch Foundation fundraising initiatives, the AmberWatch Foundation education programs, and events and promotions of interest to their age groups. They are a valuable resource for the AmberWatch Foundation and all of our partners.

Kids Advisory Board Meetings

The first AmberWatch Foundation Kid's Advisory Board meeting was held on Nov 11, 2006 at Disney's Grand California Hotel at the Disneyland Resort in Anaheim. The board's agenda included Communication and the "Be Safe!" Network. As a thank you to the 24 kids and their parents that attended, Disney & the AmberWatch Foundation treated them all to a day in the Parks. Aly & AJ appeared in Disney's Christmas Parade Special for ABC-TV that was filmed earlier that day.
